cr50_0810_web2.jpg It is a digital raster map set fully covering the area of the Czech Republic. The most significant content component is the road network of the Czech Republic classified in colour according to the level of importance. This classification allows fast visual selection of transit streets in the cities or designation of the main roads. Numbers of roads, motorways and their exits are essential complements. Depicting road network in urban areas provides basic orientation in terms of towns and municipalities. For easier data operation the map set is divided into 45 coherent tiles. The map set is a convenient complement for e.g. visualisation of analysis outputs based on StreetNet CZE data set, which is fully compatible.

 

Interesting data
Update
CR 1 : 50 000 is a cartographic representation of certain components of the StreetNet CZE data set and points of interest. Therefore it is updated in the framework of update processes of the above mentioned data sets, i.e. twice a year.
Data set upgrade
In terms of better utilization on map servers the annotation placement has been changed (names of municipalities and their parts, numbers of roads and exits, names of water sheets) in a way that it does not intersect the edges of StreetNetCZE CITY plans.
Release terms
CR 1 : 50 000 raster map is generally released twice a year.
