Projects and Consultancy

Apart from standardized map products our company offers consulting services, realizes projects in the area of science and research and coordinates extensive transport telematic projects in cooperation with other partner organizations. All project and consulting activities beyond the framework of standardized product retail are conducted by project department.

Project department builds upon achieved know-how in the area of digital mapping and geographic information systems (GIS) and applies this experience when implementing projects or providing consultancy services especially in the area of transport telematics and geomarketing.

Activities in the area of transport telematics:

Since the beginning our company has been focused on processing geographic data as well as consultancy services in the area of transport telematic systems where we are presently implementing several commercial and science-research projects. The main objective of transport telematics is to enhance the effectivity of transport utilization by the participants as well as to improve transport services. It stands out for the suitable synergy of technologies and the international norm standardization. The project department supports coordination of all cooperating companies and institutions.

Activities in the area of geomarketing:

Project department provides consultancy and support in the area of geomarketing using geographic information for planning and implementation of marketing activities. Geomarketing analyses use statistic information (sociodemographic, economic and other indicators) as well as spatial data. The main geomarketing devices are geographic information systems (GIS). Among the basic GM analyses belong e.g.:

• regional layout
• development planning
• area selection
• network optimization
• distribution analysis
• demographic analysis
• feedback monitoring
